Construction

LACD aims to take the stress out of construction projects. Good communication and excellent workmanship are the hallmarks of our approach. From the outset of a project we consider 'build ability', identifying possible issues well in advance and eliminating problems before they occur.

We advise on various construction methods and provide cost-effective solutions. We believe that the quality of the finish is vital  and work hard to get it right. We specialize in high-specification extensions, conversions and refurbishments and fit-out for both commercial and residential properties.

Property Refurbishment

The quality and finish of your property should be top of your list in order to be successful in an ever changing and demanding market. To attract purchasers and tenants alike it is imperative that your property is up to date with modern requirements as anything tired and dated will have a negative effect. Update bathrooms, modernise kitchens, apply a coat of paint, renew the carpets and in return you will achieve the most from your investment. Our experienced and dedicated refurbishment team can oversee every aspect of a refurbishment project, no matter how big or small the job. We’ll take care of the design and renewal of kitchens and bathrooms, as well as redecoration, carpets and curtains. We can also look after any minor repairs, electrical requirements, plumbing issues, external repairs and redecoration to make sure your property reaches its maximum market potential.

House Extensions

A house extension does not only add additional space to a home, but also increases the value of a property. Following the simplification of the planning and regulations in London, it saw a number of home owners opting to extend their properties. From kitchen extensions to loft extensions, our team has extensive experience in house extensions of all types and sizes.

Our team has extensive experience in house extensions of all types and size, from bungalows to detached homes. If you're looking to extend your property and require guidance and inspiration on the types of works needed to be done, our expert builders and specialists can assist you throughout the whole process.

Loft Conversions

Loft Conversions are often a lower cost alternative to extending your home and an effective way to maximise a space. Generally speaking, there are 3 types of loft conversions which slightly differ from one another depending on the rood structure of the property as well as the planning in the area.

    Dormer
    Mansard
    Hip to Gable

We have extensive experience in the conversions as listed above.

Prior to the extension, establishing the suitability of your room is extremely crucial. We will assess your roof and determine the appropriate form of conversion. Do you have water tanks, chimney stack or other items that might impact on space Head height is a major consideration; where possible we will avoid changing the pitch of your roof and help you design any changes, ensuring minimum fuss and cost.

Our objective is to deliver every service with precise quality and skill, developing charming new rooms and fresh spaces that owners can enjoy for years to come. A loft conversion not only adds value to your home, but also gives you the extra space you need.

Basements

Basement conversions are relatively common among British households as utilising the space beneath your current property is an ideal way of gaining usable living space. Basement extensions can be complex; they require careful planning and design to ensure that you get the most from your space, without impacting your existing property.

A basement conversion can create a wonderful living space for your family home, capable of housing any type of room from swimming pools, games rooms and entertainment areas, through to bedrooms with en suite bathroom.

Basement Constructions however are technically complex projects due to the impact that it can cause on your infrastructure, hence using a basement planning specialist during the initial consultation is essential.

From basement excavation and waterproofing to tanking, plumbing and electrics, right through to plastering, tiling, and final painting and decorating: thoroughness and attention to detail are our watchwords. Furthermore, all our work is fully guaranteed.
